You read one passage, then select every option that is correct. Pearson lists 1–2 such items in Part 2 Reading. More than one option is correct, but the number varies by item and Pearson does not publish it, so judge each option against the passage instead of expecting a fixed count.
Pearson scores the task at +1 for each correct option selected and −1 for each incorrect option selected, with a minimum score of 0. It is the only PTE Core Reading task with negative marking: one wrong tick wipes out a point you had already earned.
